In the Karnataka bypolls - for which voting is being held on November 3 - the ruling Janata Dal Secular - Congress coalition are putting up a united front. Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda of the JDS was in Ballari campaigning for the Congress candidate V S Ugrappa. Mr Gowda spoke to NDTV's Maya Sharma in Kudligi on the campaign trail in Ballari district.
