Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks at Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Supreme Court, left the judges of Supreme court in splits yesterday. PM said, "I understand that lawyers and judges are facing difficulties in the old Supreme Court building and hence the Centre has granted Rs 800 crore for a new Supreme Court building. I hope someone doesn't file a petition against it in the Supreme Court, just like they did against new Parliament building."
