On 60 rebel TMC MLAs, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury says, “We all are aware of the internal condition of the TMC. They wanted to join the BJP but have been rejected as the BJP wants to protect its image. With corruption allegations hanging over them, these MLAs have no other option but to surrender to the BJP…just as Mamata Banerjee once defected from the Congress and pushed it to the brink of collapse, she is now facing a similar fate today…the ‘Eknath Shinde model’ is being implemented in Bengal.
