West Bengal News | Bengal Government Hands Over 'Chicken's Neck' Corridor Land to Centre
The new West Bengal government led by Suvendu Adhikari has approved the transfer of nearly 120 acres of land around the strategically important "Chicken's Neck" corridor in North Bengal to the central government. The administration has also cleared the handover of seven stretches of national highways to the National Highways Authority of India and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited as part of a broader infrastructure push in the region.
