Bharatiya Janata Party is intensifying its campaign efforts in West Bengal as it takes on the Trinamool Congress in a high-stakes electoral battle. Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, campaigned in Siliguri for BJP candidate Sankar Ghosh, who is contesting against senior TMC leader Goutam Deb. Speaking to NDTV during the campaign, Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed strong confidence in a BJP victory, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party is set to form the government in Bengal. The BJP is also aiming to secure significant gains in North Bengal, where several key constituencies are witnessing intense political contests.
