VIPs' bail: Different yardstick?
DMK MP Kanimozhi is one of the eight accused in the 2G scam who were denied bail. It means they will stay in jail till the trial in the case ends. The judge in a strong order said Kanimozhi deserves no sympathy because she belongs to a higher strata of society. The judge also said white collar crime deserves strong punishment.
