Vijay’s TVK Extends Leads In Both Tamil Nadu Bypoll Seats, Dharapuram And Madurantakam

Counting is underway in Tamil Nadu’s Dharapuram and Madurantakam bypolls, with Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leading in both constituencies, according to the latest trends provided. TVK candidate Sathabama is ahead by over 5,500 votes in Dharapuram, while the party’s candidate leads by more than 8,700 votes in Madurantakam. The bypolls have turned into a three-cornered contest involving TVK, AIADMK and DMK. TVK’s decision to field defectors who triggered the bypolls has put the party’s electoral strategy under scrutiny.
