Venezuela US Conflict | Trump Claims Maduro ‘Captured’ As US Launches Massive Strike On Venezuela

Caracas plunged into chaos early Saturday as explosions ripped through the Venezuelan capital and fires engulfed multiple buildings. Hours later, US President Donald Trump announced that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, had been “captured” and “flown out of the country,” confirming a “large-scale” US military strike. Power outages hit areas near key military bases as attacks were reported across Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira. Rejecting what it called “US military aggression,” Venezuela declared a national emergency, marking Washington’s most direct intervention in Latin America since the 1989 invasion of Panama.
