Seven days after the devastating flash floods in Uttarkashi, Dharali, and Harsil villages are still battling nature's fury. Relief operations are underway, with over a thousand people evacuated and 800 personnel from the Army, ITBP, NDRF, SDRF, and the state government working together to rescue those stranded. The government has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh for affected families and is trying to restore road connectivity, with essential supplies being distributed.
