Unable To Sell Produce, Farmer Burns Paddy Crop In UP's Lakhimpur Kheri
The farmers of Lakhimpur Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh, which witnessed violence earlier this month, are struggling to sell their produce. Samodh Singh, a farmer, has been trying to sell his paddy for the last 14 days but to no avail. Frustrated, today he sprayed his paddy crop with petrol and set it on fire.
