A farmer committed suicide in Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh, the home constituency of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Akadu Uike, a resident of Meghasiwni village, was found hanging from a shed in his field this morning. His wife said he had borrowed Rs. 9,000 from a local moneylender for their daughter's wedding and was unable to repay it.
