Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed concern about a potential meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump, which is scheduled to take place in Alaska on August 15. "President Trump announces that he is preparing to meet with Putin in Alaska. Very far away from this war that is going on in our land, against our people, which still cannot be ended without us, without Ukraine," Zelensky stated, in an address released on Saturday. "The relevant Ukrainian territorial issue is already in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will and cannot retreat from this. Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier," he added, stressing that Ukraine 'is ready for real solutions'. Zelensky also slammed the Trump-Putin meeting and the territorial clause for not involving Ukraine and standing 'against peace'.
