As the bill was signed by the U.S president, the Justice Department has begun preparing documents for public release. Once signed, the law requires a thirty-day release window. The files must be released before December 19. However, legal redactions and any ongoing investigations could still slow or limit what the public actually sees. So while the framework is set and the countdown has begun.... the final release may not be as complete or as fast as many expect.
