US President Donald Trump unveiled the new Air Force One, a converted Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar and now serving as the official presidential aircraft. The aircraft features a redesigned red, white and navy-blue colour scheme, replacing the iconic light-blue exterior associated with previous Air Force One jets. Trump praised the aircraft's craftsmanship during an event at Joint Base Andrews, calling it one of the most luxurious planes in the world. The Qatari jet will serve as a temporary presidential aircraft until Boeing delivers the next-generation VC-25B fleet, currently expected in 2028. The aircraft's acceptance has also sparked debate over the ethics of accepting such an expensive foreign gift.
