Trump At Davos: 'NATO Allies Must Defend Their Own Territory'

In his special address at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, US President Donald Trump defended his administration's push for faster weapons production, saying NATO and European nations have spent trillions on defence while relying heavily on US-made arms. Trump announced restrictions on stock buybacks by defence companies, arguing that profits should instead be used to build new manufacturing plants and accelerate production of missiles, fighter jets and other military equipment.
