Tower Of London Reopens After Chaos As Protesters Target Crown Jewels Display

The Tower of London was briefly shut to visitors after protesters threw custard and apple crumble at the display case containing the Crown Jewels. Four people were arrested after the incident, which was claimed by "Take Back Power," a self-described non-violent civil-resistance group. The stunt was carried out to protest inequality in the UK and to demand the creation of a permanent citizens' assembly-called the "House of the People"-with powers to tax extreme wealth and "fix Britain." The site has since reopened.
