TMC MP Saayoni Ghosh On List Of 20 Rebel MPs: Sources

Trinamool Congress' national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee held a meeting with Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in Delhi today. The meeting at 10 Janpath took place a day after Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee met former Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence and discussed ways to further consolidate the opposition INDIA bloc.

The Trinamool Congress is also witnessing an unprecedented rebellion in the party's legislature wing in Bengal, where 58 party MLAs broke ranks with the leadership and backed Ritabrata Banerjee for the post of Leader of the Opposition, rejecting the party's official nominee Shovandeb Chattopadhyay.
