Thousands Rally In Tehran For New Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei
Thousands of people marched the streets of Tehran on Monday, declaring their 'allegiance' to Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. Footage shows crowds carrying Iranian flags and portraits of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei alongside images of Mojtaba. According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, demonstrators gathered in Enghelab (Revolution) Square in Tehran. Similar rallies were also reported in several other cities, including Bushehr, Khorramabad and Isfahan.
