"This Is Not Maharashtra's Tradition": Shinde Sena Leader On Slapgate Row
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam told NDTV that his party is in favour of Marathi pride and language, but will not support violence in its name. Slamming the recent incidents of violence by MNS workers over Marathi language, he said, "This is not Maharashtra. The state accepts everyone and people peacefully co-exist. We are against division of society based on Marathi language."
