Tamil Nadu Schools Partially Reopen. Tragic Covid Stories Unfold

Schools across Tamil Nadu have reopened yesterday for classes IX to XII amid a new set of guidelines and SOPs. Only 50 per cent student strength permitted at any point in time. The day also unfolded tragic stories. At the Everwin School, around 300 students had lost a parent to Covid. Students also shared disturbing stories of many of their parents losing jobs or taking salary cuts. NDTV spoke to a group of students and teachers at the Everwin Matriculation and Higher Secondary School in Chennai.
