"BJP Not Dependent On Rajinikanth...": Actor-Politician Khushbu Sundar To NDTV

Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, who is the BJP's candidate in Chennai's Thousand Lights constituency, denies that her party has compromised its stand on corruption by joining hands with ruling AIADMK. In the disproportionate assets case, former chief minister Jayalalithaa was the prime accused and her aide Sasikala was convicted for four years. Speaking to NDTV, Ms Sundar said the BJP is not dependent on superstar Rajinikanth for endorsement; she called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as "the greatest superstar".
