A heated exchange broke out in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly as Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay challenged the opposition over questions on law and order. Vijay asked opposition members to stay in the House for his reply, saying he would return and give a clear response to every question raised by the members. Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin hit back, saying the issue could have been avoided if the Chief Minister had given his reply earlier.
