Tamil Nadu Assembly Unites Against Mekedatu Dam, Karnataka Hits Back
The Tamil Nadu Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution opposing Karnataka's proposed Mekedatu dam project on the Cauvery River. The resolution urges the Centre not to grant any technical, environmental, or other clearances and asks the Cauvery Water Management Authority not to process Karnataka's Detailed Project Report (DPR).
