Sukhbir Badal Attack: Akali Dal Demands NIA Probe, Questions Security
More than 48 hours after the attack on Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, the party held its first major rally in Khanna, where Harsimrat Kaur Badal broke down while recalling the incident. Calling the attacker a “Guru Dokhi”, she questioned how anyone who attacks a person while he is praying could be a Sikh. Harsimrat also raised questions over a possible conspiracy, while the Akali Dal demanded an NIA probe and questioned Sukhbir Badal's security.
