Stock Market News Today | Stock Markets To Remain Open On Sunday Due To Budget

Despite it being a Sunday, both the NSE and BSE will remain open for live trading on February 1 this year. The reason: the Union Budget for financial year 2026-27, will be presented in Parliament by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 11 am on that day. In circulars to investors, the NSE and the BSE said they will conduct a live trading session on February 1 as per standard market timings, declaring it a special trading day. As per the exchanges, the pre-open session will begin at 9 am, followed by normal trading from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm.
