"Slaves To Centre": DMK's Cartoon Targets TVK, AIADMK Leaders
In a sharp political move, Tamil Nadu's ruling DMK released a cartoon mocking actor-turned-politician Vijay and AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami, depicting them carrying Prime Minister Modi on a palanquin and calling them "slaves" to the Union government. The post, quoting MGR's famous line - "Why would slaves have blood running in their body?" - has sparked controversy. Despite the rivalry between AIADMK and Vijay's TVK, both parties have kept alliance options open ahead of the polls, while the BJP has hinted at a shared anti-DMK agenda.
