Shashi Tharoor On His Role In Congress Party: "I Respect Party's Decisions"

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor responded to questions about whether he is being utilised enough by the party, saying it is the Congress leadership’s prerogative to decide who speaks on specific issues. Tharoor said he respects the party’s decisions on representation and public messaging. He added that he continues to reach audiences through several platforms, including newspaper columns, online writing and media interactions. Tharoor said that despite receiving numerous invitations, he often has to decline many due to other commitments. The senior Congress leader said he does not feel frustrated about his public visibility, noting that he has opportunities beyond party platforms to share his views and engage with the public.
