The Saudi Ministry of Defence says air defence systems intercepted and destroyed four drones over the Rub' al Khali Desert that were heading toward the strategic Shaybah Oil Field. The interception comes amid a surge in missile and drone threats across Gulf nations. Authorities in the United Arab Emirates say their air defences are also responding to incoming threats, while regional tensions remain high following repeated attacks linked to Iran targeting Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other Gulf states.
