Russia launched a fresh wave of overnight missile and drone strikes across Ukraine, targeting Kyiv and Sumy in one of the latest escalations of the war. Ukrainian officials said glide bombs hit civilian areas in Sumy, killing at least four people and injuring 17 others. In Kyiv, at least 10 people were wounded. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia fired 12 missiles and 121 drones overnight, while Moscow claimed the strikes targeted drone production facilities in the Ukrainian capital.
