Donald Trump has announced a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine from May 9 to May 11, claiming both sides agreed to temporarily stop fighting. Trump said the truce would include a suspension of all “kinetic activity” and a major prisoner exchange involving 1,000 prisoners from each side. The former US President also said he would “love” the Russia-Ukraine conflict to become the 10th international dispute settled through his mediation efforts.
