Republic Day | Massive Republic Day Celebrations In Northeast: Multiple Layers Of Security In Place
Several state governments in northeast have stepped up security measures across the States for Independence Day celebrations. Security measures are tightened in Assam for Independence Day celebrations as the banned militant organisation – ULFA (Independent) has called for a complete shutdown in the state and also urged people to boycott the occasion. A strict vigil is being maintained in all sensitive areas across the State to avoid any untoward situation. Ratnadip Choudhury reports.
