While Kerala's Wayanad has been caught in a political furore of minority-majority votes, the state has a literacy rate of around 89 per cent and a sex ratio of 1,035 females to every thousand males. The youth in constituency, are not amused at being reduced to just a minority' vs majority vote bank narrative in the national political narrative.
