Rahul Gandhi Backs Sonam Wangchuk, Slams Centre Over Jantar Mantar Removal
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticised the Modi government after environmentalist and education reform advocate Sonam Wangchuk was removed from Jantar Mantar, where he had been holding a non-violent hunger strike.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi accused the government of following the principles of "Asatya and Hinsa" and said the removal of Wangchuk was wrong. He also highlighted issues such as paper leaks, the rising cost of education, and student suicides, calling them critical challenges for India's future.
