A shocking incident has come to light from a residential society in Pune’s Somwar Peth area, where a 10-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted inside a lift. The incident has left the child’s family shaken and sparked anger among residents. According to information, the incident took place inside the society’s lift, where an unidentified individual allegedly attacked the child after finding him alone. The boy later returned home in a frightened state and narrated the ordeal to his family, following which a complaint was immediately filed at the nearest police station. Family members allege that despite filing the complaint, no concrete action has been taken so far, leading to growing resentment among locals. They have demanded strict action against the accused.
