Protests In Jammu And Kashmir After Concerns Over Job Selection List
Hundreds of youth in Jammu and Srinagar are protesting after yet another selection process by J&K services selection was cancelled following corruption allegations. While the allegation of corruption in first major recruitment drive post scrapping of article 370 is an embarrassment for the administration, the protesting job aspirants says their future is at stake. Recently, Jammu and Kashmir government cancelled selection list of 1,200 police sub inspectors and ordered a CBI probe following protests over bungling and massive corruption. The protesters say they had worked hard for years together to write their exams but the allegations of corruption by some is destroying the future of thousands of job seekers. Nazir Masoodi spoke with some of the protesters.
