President Droupadi Murmu has given an appointment to a 10-member INDIA bloc delegation at 8 pm, according to sources, amid the opposition’s ongoing showdown with the Election Commission. The opposition had sought an earlier meeting as it continued demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. INDIA bloc MPs are scheduled to assemble at the old Parliament building at 3 pm, where they are expected to discuss their next move and a memorandum to the President. The BJP has accused the opposition of creating an atmosphere of anarchy.
