From ceremonial parades to operational duties, these majestic equines—thoroughbreds, warmbloods, and native breeds—are carefully selected for temperament, strength, and poise. Standing over 157 cm and weighing 500–550 kg, each horse undergoes rigorous evaluation and training under the watchful eyes of 200 expert trainers, carrying forward the proud cavalry heritage of India’s senior-most Army unit.
