West Bengal Recruitment Scam: ED Conducts Searches at Locations Linked to Madan Mitra

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted searches at seven locations linked to Trinamool Congress MLA and former West Bengal minister Madan Mitra as part of its investigation into the alleged municipality recruitment scam.

According to officials, the probe focuses on allegations that bribes were paid to secure jobs for ineligible candidates in municipalities across West Bengal. Investigators suspect that cash and gold were routed through intermediaries before allegedly reaching key beneficiaries.
