Trump's New Immigration Policy: Ending H-1B Visa Lottery, What Changes?| Washington Watch

In today's episode of Washington Watch, The Trump administration is looking at changing how skilled worker visas are handed out. It's looking at a change to the so-called lottery system which is based on a random selection. Each year 85-thousand new H1B visas are issued by the US using this lottery system. But now instead of it being just the luck of the draw the Trump administration wants to award these visas to candidates who get higher salaries.
