Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, the BJP president said, "In Uttar Pradesh, our results were not as we expected. I congratulate Mulayam Singh Yadav for getting the support of the people in UP. Congress, in comparison to assembly segments won in 2009, has lost a lot of ground. I do not want to comment on their leadership, but this is a jolt to them."
