Hundreds of houses have been flattened and over 700 villages are still cut off due to flash floods in North Orissa, especially in Baleswar district. Rebuilding life on the national highway has become a ritual for people from villages near Rupsa in Baleshwar, every time it rains. This year, the flood is worse than usual.
