Climbers trapped in a snowstorm rescued from Nepal’s Mount Annapurna Nepali police rescued 162 trekkers from the foothills of Mount Annapurna who were caught out by an autumn snow storm on the popular hiking route. The Armed Police Force said they were able to safely bring the climbers, including 17 foreign nationals, to a safe spot and confirmed there were no more people left at the base camp or the surrounding area
