Cases of Black Fungus in the country have seen a spike of 166 per cent over the past 16 days. The fungal infection, which can potentially turn fatal, is affecting patients recovering from Covid. As many as 24,058 patients are currently under treatment for the condition across the country. What has made the situation worse is a shortage of drugs to treat it.
