The digital divide in the country has left thousands of students bereaved of online classes. In Assam's Kurua - a cluster of villages in Darrang district, just across the mighty Brahmaputra, several students could not access online classes amid the pandemic as their parents either did not have a smartphone or enough money to even buy an internet recharge pack.
