Netanyahu On Flydubai Attack: Copilot Was Radicalized, “Clearly” Suicidal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Omani co-pilot accused of attacking the captain of Flydubai flight FZ1073 appeared to have undergone Islamist radicalisation. Netanyahu said it was too early to determine whether the co-pilot had links to Iran, adding that investigators would know more in the coming days. He also described the co-pilot as “clearly” suicidal and said he reportedly shouted, “Kill me, kill me” after being subdued. The motive remains under investigation.
