In a first, election for a single parliamentary constituency in Jammu and Kashmir is being held in three phases. Today is the first phase of polling in the terror-hit Anantnag seat. Voting began on a dull note in Anantnag district of Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency amid tight security measures. Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is contesting the national polls from the Anantnag seat.
