EC Issues Notice To JDU's Lalan Singh Over Controversial Poll Remarks
The Election Commission has issued a notice to JDU leader Lalan Singh over his controversial remarks during an election rally. A video shared by the RJD showed Singh allegedly urging supporters to prevent certain people from leaving their homes on polling day and, if they resist, to take them to vote and then lock them up again. Following RJD's complaint, the poll body swiftly took cognizance and sent a notice to Singh.
