24-Day Ultimatum To Finish Osman Hadi Murder Trial; NDTV Reports From Dhaka
Hours after Bangladesh’s National Citizen Party (NCP) announced its decision to join a Jamaat-e-Islami-led alliance ahead of the general elections, triggering an internal rift, party convenor Nahid Islam clarified that the tie-up was purely electoral and not rooted in ideological alignment. Inqilab Moncho has given the Yunus government in Bangladesh a 24-day ultimatum to complete the trial in the murder of party leader Sharif Osman Hadi and bring all those involved in his killing to justice.
