The latest round of face-off between Arun Shourie and Kapil Sibal is over the disinvestment of VSNL. Sibal has ordered a probe to find out why did the NDA government not take away 770 acres of VSNL land worth thousands of crores in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata while selling off the public sector company to the Tata Group. Arun Shourie was the disinvestment minister at the time.
