The Maximum City has a lot of hopes from the Rail Budget. Mumbaikars expect greater frequency of local trains, ideally one every three minutes. Nearly 70 lakh people who travel by local trains want more coaches in trains and cheaper first class tickets. More trains to Virar and Kalyan and rail corridors connecting different networks are also on their wishlist.
